Suggestion: Random name/number finder

Hi, I would like to suggest a tool to pick a random number and/or name from a given list or number range. I use a external app similiar to a wheel of fortune (which I call the volunteer-finder) but it would be great to include something like that in openboard. Would be a nice programming project for...

Re: restoring Files

Does somebody know where the documents are stored on a Linux system?

Re: Can't install under Linux Mint 19....any workaround or upcoming update?

Sorry for the late answer,
I just tried to install openboard under KDE neon and got the same problem.
As a short work around I just searched for the newer versions of the dependencies and installed them by hand. I was just 5 I think. Not the most elegant way but fast and practical...

Feature request: SVG import/export

Hi, I think this feature wouldn't be much of a problem because svg is already a part of the ubz files (but as far as I experimented typed text is not included). Would it be possible to import/export svgs directly? Oh and another question by the way: Where are the openboard files stored? Is there a w...

Re: Openboard in Raspberry Pi3

Oh, that was easy, the discussions that helped me where right in the github page of Openboard.
There's a link to a Ubuntu-Raspy Package on that page as well

Re: Openboard in Raspberry Pi3

I encountered some problems and the package is definitely not ready for work.
I found some building instructions online and when I find that link I'll post it here.
Nevertheless I'll try to build that package again, I tried to do it on Raspian last time but it's supposed to work better on Ubuntu

Openboard in Raspberry Pi3

Hi, I just managed to build Openboard to run on a Raspi 3with Raspian installed, but encountered some problems along the way and had to use some force to get it functioning. It's not fully tested yet and still having some problems. Is there someone else here (instead of github) who's fiddling with t...

Re: German User Guide

I might be wrong, but translating the openboard-site into german does not seem like so much work (correct me if I'm wrong :) ) so I might be willing to help if you need it. The problem is that I don't speak (nevertheless write) french, so I would have to translate the english version into german. (O...

Re: How do others "calibrate" whiteboard with Ubuntu?

Seems that the size-setting is not perfect. In the center touchsurface and visual screen align perfectly with increasing distance between both toward the edges.
We can set the size directly at the whiteboard with hardware-switches. What model do you use?

Re: German User Guide

Hi,
I've just started to use Openboard (we got some new Promethean panels at our school). Oh, up until now it works fine by the way :D

I'm from Germany and would be willing to help, proofread or whatever as I have to work through the User guide anyway.
