I would like to see infinite cloning of objects getting implemented. This is a a common and popular feature of all bigger iwb-products like Smart Notebook, Active Inspire, Easiteach NG and many more.

Here is short video illustrating this feature in Smart Notebook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rkEAp-mLlo
Here is a short description of this feature in Smart Notebook: http://onlinehelp.smarttech.com/english ... bjects.htm

I am aware of the fact that OpenBoard already has an function to duplicate an object. But this is not quiet the same. I can't define with the duplicate-function that an object is getting cloned just by the attempt to move it. In fact one has to make a set of three mouse clicks to clone an object with the duplicate function. Lessons like shown in the video above are currently not possible with OpenBoard because of this.

Hi,

Thanks for your proposal.
As you said " This is a a common and popular feature of all bigger iwb-product]s like Smart Notebook, Active Inspire, Easiteach NG and many more", but we are a small team trying to make this project live, with very few financial resources.
If you have computer skills, the project on GitHub is open to proposals, you can make a pull.

It is good to hear that you are not against this wish. Unfortunately I am not skilled enough to do this change by myself.
